Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Who am I to do this?

A better question is…

Who are you not to?

I led a virtual class recently where a really awesome question was posed.

A woman brought up the fact that she was being really freaking bold, positioning herself as a person who can help other healers excel in their practices.

She wanted to know what to do with the fear that people were going to judge her for taking on that role of leadership.

“What if they judge me?”

Oooooh. What if they judge me? I know that one well.

Here’s my first response:

GOOD! I hope they judge the crap out of you, because when you are doing something that’s big and badass enough for others to get triggered and jealous and judgmental, that means you’re making a splash.

When you’re making a splash, that means your onto something.

Response #2:

Keep going! If you’re being called forth to do some epic shit, then who are you NOT to? Who are you to refuse the call for more? What kind of person would you be if you cow-towed to that fear instead of RISING to the occasion you’re faced with.

It’s a real fear. We worry that if we get to big, fabulous, visible or successful that we will outgrow our tribe and no longer fit in and that is a very likely scenario.

BUT, would you rather fit in and keep playing a tiny pathetic game…

OR…

…would you rather follow your heart and go where your path is taking you… to BIGGER BOLDER things?!

There’s a term for this, it’s known as the ‘tall poppy syndrome’ where we don’t want to be more outstanding than our friends.

I say, fuck that!

Be willing to surpass everyone you know and…

1. See who’s left standing, because those are your real people.

2. See who is on that next level to hang out with. Odds are they are more inspiring and uplifting than your old friends anyway.

So, what does your next level look like?

And who can you help when you step into it?

Where can you embrace boldness and be the person you were born to become?

What would it take to step into that role more, today?

What can you acknowledge yourself for right now, about you being the incredible creator and being that you truly are?

I believe in you.

Find your tribe and RISE!
