Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Launching the Tactical Magic Podcast has been one of the most fun ways I contribute to my people.

Getting emails thanking me for the show and responding to the amazing guests I’ve interviewed is such a gift in my universe.

I was lucky to find out before launching, that there is a smart way to launch a podcast, and I want to make sure you have that information before you go out and try to DIY it. (You can absolutely DIY it, but here are some resources to help!)

How to Launch a Podcast:

  1. Name it!

  2. Get a Hosting Account with a Podcast Hosting Platform

See the PDF from Michael Neeley (below) for more on this.

  3. Record (and Edit) content

start with an intro episode and at least 4 or 5 full length episodes to upload before your launch date

  4. Get a launch team ready to support you on launch day

This can happen in a Facebook group for ease

  5. Make sure you’ve submitted properly through Itunes/Apple Podcasts

This needs to be complete BEFORE launch day, so handle it at least a couple weeks in advance.

  6. Launch the show! (Get your friends to subscribe/rate/review)

  7. Keep it regular

BATCH your content so it’s not overwhelming for you to stay consistent.
